The Historic River town of Murwillumbah is a lovely place to visit when you stay. It holds loads of Tweed Shire's History and has some amazing cafes and shops for you to discover. Murwillumbah is also the entry to the gorgeous Tweed Valley, including the Mount Warning National Park. If you're in the mood for a day of exploration and exercise, then we would suggest you take a few hours to climb the Extinct Volcano of Mt. Warning and take in the breathtaking sights it's summit has to offer, with it's 360 degree views, you will be able to see all the way to South Brisbane to the North, to Byron Bay to the East and everywhere in between.
